Cubs: Baby Clouded Leopards are very small, helpless and weigh about 6 ounces at birth. The cubs are born with thier eyes closed, no teeth and unable to walk or move. The cubs eat 10-20% of their own body weight. At six weeks of age they are introduced for the first time to solid food, this shows how strong their teeth are. By the time the cubs are 3 months old, they have gained enough confidence to climb high in branches and trees.
They have short legs, large pawswhich are great for hunting and reaches 64kph. Full grown Clouded Leopards are very dangerous, their jaw can open wiuder than 2 inches long. They have a very strong gripand they're double-jointed which allows them to climb high, jump and hang upside down on trees. Clouded Leopards are carnivores, they hunt their prey by biting the throat until it suffocates. An every day meal of a Clouded Leopard includes monkeys, deers, birds, wild pigs, goats, cattle and porcupines.
